A 2-year grant to prevent homelessness among Black, Asian and minority ethnic women. Bold Actions CIC is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a two-year grant from the Heart of England Community Foundation under its Building Better Lives programme. The funding recognises our passion to advocate for marginalised women and extends our ongoing work to prevent homelessness among women aged 26 - 75 from Black, Asian and minority ethnic communities across Birmingham and the Black Country. We will be providing early, tailored support to women navigating the pressures of the ongoing cost-of-living crisis, so they can remain safely and securely housed. Through this project, we will reach more women earlier, before housing pressures become a crisis. Behind every statistic is a woman with a story, and this investment recognises the importance of prevention, dignity and community-based support.
